Jonathan Pignoli received his Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University in 2000.  He received his Juris Doctorate from Temple University School of Law in 2003.  He is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

    Mr. Pignoli began working for the Federal Public Defender Office during a law school internship during the summer of 2002, and he then continued working for the office as the Research and Writing Attorney in May of 2004.

    Mr. Pignoli handles practically all appeals in the office and can be a valuable resource to you if you have questions regarding any sentencing or appellate matters.  He is also an active contributor to the Third Circuit Blog.  Feel free to email Mr. Pignoli or call the office with any issues that you might need assistance with.  The office is always eager to offer copies of our briefs if you have a relevant issue before the district court, Third Circuit, or the Supreme Court.
